BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The man seen in the image above is missing, and police in Broward County would appreciate any information that you have that could lead to his safe return. Edelberto Herrera, 64, seemingly vanished Saturday afternoon. According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office in a statement to BocaNewsNow.com:
“Investigators are searching from Edelberto Herrera who was last seen around 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4, near the 300 block of Southeast 13th Avenue in Pompano Beach. Herrera is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs around 180 pounds. He has black/gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a turquoise Miami Dolphins jersey, blue jacket and blue jeans.
According to his family, Hererra suffers from limited speech and confusion due to medical conditions. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact BSO Missing Persons Det. Chris Blankenship at 954-321-4268 or at the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764- HELP (4357).”
Police did not say whether or not they believe he entered a vehicle or could be walking. His direction of travel was also not provided as part of the police statement.
