This appears to be an isolated incident. The investigation is ongoing.”
BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A man believed to be in his mid-30s was shot multiple times Monday evening in the 600 block of NE 2nd Street in Boynton Beach. The bullets apparently hit his limbs and are not considered to be life-threatening.
Sources familiar with the emergency response but not authorized to share information tell BocaNewsNow.com that it happened just before 6 p.m. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue professionals rushed to the scene and transported the man to Delray Medical Center, there area’s trauma center. It was unclear if the man summoned help on his own.
We are awaiting an update from Boynton Beach Police. It’s unknown how the man was shot and whether it was accidental or criminal. There does not appear to be an active “manhunt” underway as of 7 p.m. Boynton Beach Police spokespeople tend to be excellent when it comes to release vital information. There is no indication that there is a threat to the community.
