Grieco Ford Allegedly Gave Land Rover To Person Who Didn’t Purchase It…

DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Grieco Ford in Delray Beach is on the receiving end of a lawsuit for allegedly giving a used Land Rover to someone who never paid for it. The company that did pay for it says Grieco made a huge mistake and won’t own up to its problem. Now, Global World Logistics Services is suing Greico for the purchase price of the car.
We are publishing the complete — and arguably somewhat bizarre — lawsuit, below. It’s unclear if police were ever called, if Greico ever made an effort to retrieve the vehicle, or if Global World Logistics filed a police report before suing the dealership. It’s unclear why the dealership would have ever released a car to someone without substantial proof of identity. Here are highlights from the complaint which lists the person who took the vehicle
“Grieco Ford failed to deliver the Vehicle to Global, despite receiving the full Purchase Price. On December 10, 2024, Grieco Ford wrongfully delivered the Vehicle at the Grieco Ford Dealership to a stranger unauthorized by Global to take delivery of the Vehicle (the “Stranger”). After encountering the Stranger on December 10, 2024, and before delivering the Vehicle to the Stranger, Grieco Ford never contacted Global to advise Global that the Stranger had arrived to pick up the Vehicle.
After encountering the Stranger on December 10, 2024, and before delivering the Vehicle to the Stranger, Grieco Ford never contacted Global to advise Global that Grieco Ford intended to deliver the Vehicle to the Stranger. After encountering the Stranger on December 10, 2024, and before delivering the Vehicle to the Stranger, Grieco Ford never obtained any written or verbal authorization from Global for Grieco Ford to deliver the Vehicle to the Stranger.
After encountering the Stranger on December 10, 2024, and before delivering the Vehicle to the Stranger, Grieco Ford never received any documentation from the Stranger that would purport to give the Stranger any authority to receive the Vehicle on behalf of Global, or otherwise. After encountering the Stranger on December 10, 2024, and before delivering the Vehicle to the Stranger, Grieco Ford did not require the Stranger to sign any receipt, bill of lading or other documentation when it wrongfully delivered the Vehicle to the Stranger. After encountering the Stranger on December 10, 2024, and before delivering the Vehicle to the Stranger, Grieco Ford did not obtain or record any identification from the Stranger.”
