No Presidents’ Day Holiday In Palm Beach County Public School System.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Presidents’ Day isn’t a thing in the Palm Beach County School District. While several private schools in the area will enjoy an extended weekend starting on Friday, public school remains in session on both Friday, February 14th, and Monday, February 17th. The Palm Beach County School District traditionally skips this holiday.
Palm Beach County public school students have already had a significant number of days off when compared to private schools in the area — 22 days have been “no school days” so far.
Students hoping for a day off soon will have one on February 24th. That’s a teacher in-service day where educators are expected to be in school while students are off. Teachers have six “in service” days during the 2024-2025 school year. (Drive by any public school lot on the upcoming in-service days — February 24, March 31, June 2 — and let us know what you see).
School continues for Palm Beach County public school students through Friday, May 30th. Spring break runs from March 24th through March 28th.
