Those Rude People Keep Attacking Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, and Palm Beach County With Grossness… Welcome To Boca Rudeton™

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — We spring forward this Sunday with more rude people permeating South Florida. From Palm Beach International Airport to a Boca Raton Publix where huge signs tell people that no dogs are allowed, the joy of South Florida living for the un-rude continues. Fasten your seatbelts and tighten your leash… here we go…

Publix at Woodfield Plaza is where we find a woman with her dog. Apparently this Bounty-fan couldn’t read the gigantic signs that tell people that pets are banned in Publix. We note that Emotional Support Animals — if perhaps this woman needs emotional support — are not permitted. And this dog doesn’t look like it’s highly trained to provide lifesaving care. Maybe it is. Maybe we’re wrong.

Like our tipster, we think something doesn’t look quite right. It appears that the multiple Publix employees are just ignoring the policy they’re supposed to be enforcing. Publix. Shopping is always a pleasure.

At Palm Beach International Airport’s Escape Lounge — which we realize isn’t exactly nice but it’s as good as it gets on the American/United/Southwest Airlines side of things — this couple apparently thought it was a dog park. Or that their Amex Platinum card included two adults and two dogs on a long leash. Nothing says “Amex Platinum” better than rude people with two dogs on long leashes. As multiple people stared at the woman with the dogs, she obliviously carried on while she and her man talked to each other while keeping AirPods in their ears.

She and her man were later seen walking through the terminal on her way to a Philly-bound flight. Never mind those airport signs at PBIA that require all dogs to be in carriers. What’s the saying about money and class? #AthleisurewearAlways.

At the Walmart at Palmetto Park Road and U.S. 441, we find this man with what appears to be a tiger, but we believe it is actually just an unnecessarily large dog in a store that sells food. Whether it’s a tiger or a dog is irrelevant. It shouldn’t be there. Our tipster ponders why Walmart didn’t say anything. Maybe like customers near the dog, they were afraid.

Joseph’s Italian Market at Boca Raton Town Center Mall continues to be a place where disgusting people bring their disgusting dogs. Despite signs that demand people keep their pets outside, this man apparently decided it was just fine to bring the dog into the store. Our tipster says store workers did nothing.

Let’s go to parking, and we’ll start at the Fresh Market on Federal Highway in Delray Beach. Our tipster wants to know why this person can’t park in one space. Driver of a Nissan Murano Florida plate 08JLC, we wonder too.

And at the Park Creek surgery center on State Road 7 in Coconut Creek, it seems the driver of this Red Lexus with Florida plate KZIY55 also has a problem seeing lines. It takes talent to park in two spaces at once. So this person must be exceptionally talented.
So who is our winner for this Boca Rudeton™ edition? It has to be the Philadelphia-bound travelers with their dogs at Palm Beach International Airport. Dogs are required to be in carriers at the airport. Signs all over the airport make that clear. And there is no situation where two dogs should be permitted into the “Escape Lounge” which is partially owned by American Express. Apparently these people couldn’t leave home without…the dogs. Our readers know that we don’t really give prizes, but if we did, it would be the schedule from a local middle school. It seem that’s the closest these people will ever come to class.

We remind our readers that there is no expectation of privacy in a public place. Don’t want to be seen here? Don’t be rude here! Send your submissions to us using the menu buttons above. Let’s face the facts , unless and until law enforcement enforces these laws , inconsiderate, rude and privileged people will simply continue doing whatever they want. Managers, don’t want to be police, Owners want the income , so no matter how signs you put out , you can’t expect them to enforce the rules. I appreciate that you are trying to do something I only hope it works
These morons are emotionally crippled. Leave your pet home. What’s wrong with you?
No consequences. No compliance.
Entitlement factor. It’s disgusting. You see it on I95,restaurants with dogs sitting on chairs at the table, dogs leaving their urine piddles and crap in supermarkets. Enforcement is key and staff with backbones.
I spotted a dog the other day at the Greenwise Publix on Glades Road. When I told the manager, he said, “It’s been taken care of.” Yeah, right–that dog didn’t belong there!
Try coming down to Hallandale beach Florida same thing happening ! It makes one sick. This complex as well as Publx allows animals inside. The community has broken every bylaws and rule that kept this once a gorgeous place . How would you like to have to live in a condo that one owns to see the breakdown of a buildingAnd society? no one speaks upup???
All You DOG Haters need to Sit Down.
No one is a dog hater. Just people who break the law and think they can bring a dog anywhere. Laws exist for a reason.
Your comment is ridiculous hon as nowhere is anyone saying they hate animals. Nice try though! There are laws on the books about this sort of behavior so why do folks like yourself feel entitled enough to not follow them? Hate to tell ya hon but you are no better then anyone else down here and laws need to be followed. That’s jut what folks do in a society like ours. Don’t like the laws, then just leave & move somewhere else! This nonsense needs to stop already! Let’s just live like normal adults…it ain’t hat hard now is it Kim!!!
I’m not a dog hater. I had dogs for 20 years. However, I don’t want to go food shopping with dogs. It is an allergy issue for me. I’m sure there are plenty of others that agree. I’ve never brought any of my dogs with me while shopping. I realize there are some breeds that you can’t leave at home. Well, get a dog sitter. Stores, restaurants, airport, are not the places to bring animals that aren’t crated. I’m sure they do this in Pompano, Boca, Miami. Maybe everywhere. Peple have gotten so crazy that I think People are scared to say something to them. There’s no excuse of parking badly though.
The problem with today’s society is everyone thinks they’re entitled, if you need an emotional support animal (not a TRUE Service animal) maybe you shouldn’t be flying. These little shitting yappers need to be put it a bag !
These people should go get some
Some common sense and respect classes.
Not to mention some society etiquette.
The old school behavior has been lost with this new generation and it will continue
To get worse if something doesn’t happen to change it they need consequences for these actions…
Yesterday, 9 March 2025 I watched a women bring a small maltase dog into the Publix on Yamato Road. The dog immediately urinated on one of the shopping carts that are stored at the market entrance when you first walk in. When I confronted the woman about her dog’s urine puddle some bonehead started calling me a “Daren” and told me to shut up and leave the woman alone. The bonehead attempted to assure me that it was “no big deal” because men often miss the urinal and pee on the floor. He said the store will send someone over to clean it up. I get the distinct feeling that we’re living in the pages of Mad Magazine.
The parking situation has an easy solution, make these retirees retest every year to show they are competent behind a 2+ ton bullet on the road.
I take my dog everywhere she is welcomed. This article is written by someone with an attitude problem you can tell in the way its written. Commenting on what someone is wearing has nothing to do with anything other than your opinion. You want to talk about entitlement look in the mirror idiot.
Tickets and fines need to be issued to the store AND the pet owner. That’s the only way to stop it.
As a newspaper reporting these infractions why not notify the stores or management that they should refuse entry if a person is attempting to bring in an animal. I love animals but they DO NOT BELONG IN FOOD STORES! Why can’t Publix just refuse entry and ask the customer to return without their pet? What is management policy for enforcement other than signage?
Is it really necessary to comment on the couple’s pajamas??? Yes we have an issue with non-service dogs being brought into places where they are not allowed which needs to be addressed. But by the tone of this article you clearly have a rudeness problem
