BocaNewsNow.com obtained the arrest reported for Kateryna Peterson:

>>On March 20, 2025, at approximately 2144 hours, I was dispatched to Walmart at 22100 S State Road 7, unincorporated Boca Raton, Palm Beach County in reference to a vehicle burglary in progress. Witnesses described the suspect as a white female with a white shirt and black shorts who was now exiting the parking lot and traveling eastbound on Palmetto Park Road. While in my issued patrol vehicle and in the PBSO issued uniform, I observed a female matching the description in the same area (Vineyard Ct and Palmetto Park Rd), who advised she was just at the Walmart. I detained her and placed her into handcuffs and explained that we were investigating a crime at the Walmart. She refused to corporate and did not want to provide her name. This continued while I investigated the incident at the Walmart.

During this time, she advised that she was checking door handles because she wanted to die. I returned to the scene with my Rapid ID in attempt to identify her. She refused several times again. We attempted to get a finger print but she continued to resist. She was pulled out of the vehicle and it was explained that we needed to identify her. As I attempted to utilize the Rapid ID, she raised her right leg and kicked my right knee two times. She then swung her head back towards mine as I stood behind her narrowly missing the right side of my face. At this point she was placed into the back of my vehicle and told she was under arrest. At the Walmart, Loss Prevention advised that they located her Wallet near the front of the store, after review of the abandoned property, it was discovered to contain the USA Residence Card for the current Defendant in custody, Ms. Kateryna Peterson.
