PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Wednesday shooting near Palm Beach International Airport left one person dead and is now the subject of an investigation by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. 

PBSO tells BocaNewsNow.com that at approximately 10:28 am, deputies responded to a shooting in the 4300 block of Cherry Road, West Palm Beach. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male deceased from an apparent gunshot wound or wounds.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division have assumed the investigation. Preliminary findings suggest that the incident may have been targeted. Detectives say there is no suspect information to share at this time. The investigation remains ongoing
