PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A serious crash on I-95 northbound is causing major delays in south and central Palm Beach County. The crash, reported around 5:15 a.m., continues to be a problem as of 6:30 a.m.
Five lanes northbound on I-95 in the area of 6th Avenue South are CLOSED. Florida Department of Transportation cameras in the area show a multi-car crash on I-95 and traffic at a virtual standstill. First Responders remain on the scene. A flatbed “tow” truck is also on the scene — suggesting the situation may be in the early stages of clearing.
Motorists are advised to stay off of I-95 NB until you are past Lantana Road. Jog Road may be an option if you exit south of the scene — head north — and then re-enter the interstate.
Here is the official message from FDOT: “Crash in Palm Beach County on I-95 North, beyond Exit 63: 6th Ave South. 5 Right lanes blocked. Last updated at 06:09 AM. Road Ranger Ahead. Move Over or Slow Down.”
