BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The severe drought plaguing Palm Beach County is expected to continue for the next week. There is no rain in the forecast, as of Saturday, through at least Friday. The Drought Monitor — a function of the National Weather Service — says South Florida is in midst of a drought that is severe.
The forecast for the next several days features weather that would ordinarily be considered great. But as grass is turning brown, flowers are dying, and water restrictions are possible, the area’s need for rain is not being met.
