BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Miami Dolphin wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is holding his “youth football camp” Saturday morning at St. Andrew’s School in Boca Raton. But make no mistake: this is apparently a highly-scripted event where interaction with the football star will be limited.

BocaNewsNow.com received the “media invite” to the event and noted the following language written by Ethan Canals-Fernandez — the media rep from “FlexWork Sports Management” in Texas who is overseeing the Boca Raton event.

“Submit all questions in advance,” wrote Canals-Fernandez. “Jaylen will only address camp-related questions.”

We note that legitimate media does not “submit questions in advance under any circumstance, and certainly not for what is supposed to be a “feel good” event involving a Miami Dolphin and kids. Even legitimate sports media doesn’t engage in communist-media tactics of submitting — and then asking — pre-approved questions.

This is how the event is being promoted by Canals-Fernandez: “Over the course of the day, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and local community football coaches will provide children with valuable character engineering, football knowledge, and hands-on instruction in a fun, high-energy, positive environment. Camp activities will include lectures, fundamental skill stations, contests, and awards. This comprehensive learning experience is a great way for athletes of all skill levels to get active and learn something new to apply to their journey within life and sport.“

It is unclear if the “contests and award” recipients have also been pre-determined and pre-approved by Jaylen Waddle and his FlexWork management company. The camp runs 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Andrew’s School at 3900 Jog Road in Boca Raton.
