LAKE WORTH BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A fire on a flat-bed trailer is leading to major traffic problems on I-95 and an entrance to I-95 in Lake Worth Beach. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue is urging motorists to avoid the area of I-95 and Hypoluxo Road until further notice.

According to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, there are no injuries, but the fire — and resulting damage — will lead to issues for what could be the next few hours. The entrance to northbound I-95 at Hypoluxo is closed as of 12:50 p.m. Traffic in the area on I-95 is extremely slow. It appears only a few lanes are getting by.

Check back for updates throughout the afternoon. For now, your best bet is to exit I-95 before Hypoluxo, take Congress northbound to Lantana, then try to re-enter I-95 at Lantana Road.
