BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Boynton Beach Police Department invites the community to attend the 2025 Peace Officers Memorial Ceremony on Thursday, May 15 at 10 a.m., held on the front lawn of BBPD Headquarters. This solemn event is part of National Police Week, a time dedicated to remembering the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of law enforcement officers who gave their lives in the line of duty.
This year’s ceremony holds deep significance as we honor the memories of four brave heroes from Palm Beach County:
- Officer Jeremy Boykins – West Palm Beach Police Department
- Corporal Luis Paez – Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office
- Deputy Butch Waller – Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office
- Deputy Dan Diaz – Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office
We welcome all members of the community to stand with us in tribute and reflection. The ceremony is free to attend, and light refreshments will be served.
