A co-owner of Champion Porsche alleged sent an Antisemitic text message to a Boca Raton man. Read it below.

UPDATE: Friday, May 16, 2025 at 5:02 p.m. — Champion issued a statement. We are publishing it in its entirety below. Many of the details are misrepresented according to the victim, including a “longtime friendship.”

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A co-owner of Champion Porsche located at 500 West Copans Road in Pompano Beach allegedly sent a Boca Raton man — interested in buying a $150,00 Porsche — this message when that buyer followed-up on a custom order request:

“But as usual you behave like a spoiled Jew c-nt who thinks you’re special but you’re not. You not buying a car from me is like a gift from God.”

The sender, identified as Naveen Maraj, is a co-owner of Champion Porsche/Champion Motorsport. The backstory: the man, who we are not identifying but spoke with Thursday morning, had requested information about a custom vehicle valued at more than $150,000. Through text messages reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, Naveen Maraj personally handled the request, first responding with a message discussing the difficulty in obtaining custom colors. He told the potential buyer that he’d have an update the following day.

Porsche antisemitism
This text is allegedly from a co-owner of Champion Porsche in Pompano Beach to a Boca Raton resident interested in purchasing a $150,000 vehicle.

But when several days came and went, the potential buyer checked back, got no response, so went to Braman Porsche and placed an order. When he reported that information to Naveen Maraj, Maraj claimed that he had already secured a spot for the custom vehicle and that the potential buyer behaved liked a “Jew CU-T.”

“All he had to do was say ‘thanks for the update, I hope you enjoy the new car,” said the buyer. “But instead, he turned this into an Antisemitic incident.”

The buyer told BocaNewsNow.com that he wants the public to know what’s happening at Champion Porsche — a popular dealership for many in Boca Raton — and for Naveen Maraj to acknowledge the Jewish community in South Florida. He said the Anti-Defamation League is aware of the situation and may take action against the dealership. Naveen Maraj did not respond to a message left by BocaNewsNow.com.

STATEMENT FROM CHAMPION WHICH IS LARGELY REFUTED BY THE VICTIM.

We have become aware of a recent comment made toward Mr. John Wolff that was both offensive and inexcusable. Upon learning of this, we immediately investigated and learned that Mr. Wolff was not a customer of Champion but was a friend with a Champion representative. Considering the content, we felt it was essential to address the matter directly—with the seriousness and transparency it deserves.

We have discovered that the comment was not made with the intent to harm. Notwithstanding, we recognize that intent does not negate impact. The language used was inappropriate and does not reflect the standards of conduct or mutual respect that has been a part of the Champion culture for over 38 years.

By way of background, Mr. Wolff and Mr. Naveen Maraj have maintained a close personal friendship for more than 14 years. Over that time, they became avid fishing partners and became, what Naveen believed to be a close friend. That friendship included a degree of casual banter and familiarity that, while understood privately, can easily be misinterpreted—or become wholly inappropriate—when viewed outside of that context. The remark in question was made in a personal capacity and was entirely unrelated to Mr. Maraj’s role or responsibilities at Champion. It was a moment of misplaced informality between friends, not a deliberate attempt to offend or cause harm.

That said, we fully acknowledge that words carry weight—regardless of context or intent. We deeply regret any discomfort, concern, or confusion this incident may have caused. Mr. Maraj has personally expressed his remorse and apology to Mr. Wolff.

At Champion, we are firmly committed to fostering an environment rooted in respect, professionalism, and integrity. Incidents like this remind us of the importance of these values, and we will use this moment as an opportunity to reinforce them—both internally and in our broader relationships. In furtherance of those standards, Naveen Maraj has advised that he will resign from his employment with Champion and will step down from his managerial and leadership roles with the company effective immediately.

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to clarify and take responsibility. Should there be further concerns or if additional context would be helpful, we remain fully available for continued dialogue.

  1. Boycott this place, post this all over social media. Let the world know how this person treats Jewish customers! Let others, from ALL FAITHS, know how he treats customers of different faiths. THIS CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE!!

  2. The anti-Semitic actions from this dealer should be reported to Porsche, and they should lose this franchise. Never purchase from this disgusting place.

    1. Hate speech is NOT protected! And if you think this is an acceptable way to behave, then maybe somebody should be showing you the door. But a business owner stupid enough to make comments like that will get his just due. Not only a bigot but exceptionally stupid, too….

    1. Maga PorscheFan…
Spoiled Jew Cunt is as antisemetic as hate language comes. Your hate is clear in trying to invoke our constitution.
You lack knowledge of antisemitism and the US Constitution. Learn the truth about hate.

      1. Not a spoiled Jew cunt,
        “Maga” PorscheFan?…
Are you adding additional rhetoric to advance your personal assumption and insinuate this has something to do with politics? That’s pretty petty in light of the serious accusations and I would assert that your hate is clear as well.

    2. This is the most idiotic comment anyone could possibly make. Unfortunately, idiocy has become a common occurrence these days. “We can show you the door “…sheer stupidity!

    3. And if you’re referring to “free speech”, as a mature adult, one has to be aware of the fact that there are consequences.
There are laws regarding hate speech.

    4. Yes, we all have freedom of speech. But that freedom carries responsibility. When we say stupid stuff, we are responsible for what we say. He was free to say what he said, but is responsible for the consequences. Others who take offense at what he said, also have freedom of speech to hold him accountable. Freedom of speech is a right. It is not an excuse!

  3. It’s important to distinguish between deliberate antisemitism and comments made in the course of private discourse that may be clumsy or ill-phrased but lack malicious intent. Condemning someone outright for a remark in a personal conversation risks conflating genuine prejudice with the complexity of human communication. We should approach such situations with nuance, allowing space for clarification, growth, and context rather than immediate moral censure.

    1. Yea, kind of similar to the nuance used when the N word is bandied about, what would happen if the Customer was a man of color and that word was used? Nuance? Nope.

    2. Your response has merit, but in the normal routine of negotiations, Marij’s remarks, to a potential buyer, no less, are exceedingly reprehensible. I can’t imagine how this supposed co-owner can wiggle his way out of this self-imposed disaster. Do you,?

  4. Yes, freedom of speech. Also includes freedom to boycott. Freedom to share what others say in a public forum. Freedom to purchase where you want. Freedom to express disagreement. If you plan to hide behind the freedom of speech, then you cannot deny the same freedom to others. People upset over something a person says, have the same freedoms.

  5. Unless he’s a complete idiot (which he may be) I bet that he used voice-to-text and forgot to turn off the text. That said, he should lose his franchise and if not he should be boycotted. The first amendment guarantees free speech but there may be consequences.

  6. We purchased from Ft Myers Porsche and they delivered to the east coast. They are absolutely fantastic. Ask for Kyle. He is professional, accommodating and beyond pleasant.

    1. As a longtime Porsche owner, I’ll of course never purchase another car from Champion again. The sad reason why your dealership will shut down, people will lose their jobs, is because of your made up response that this was banter between two friends. If it truly was – release text messages proving that. If it wasn’t and you don’t admit this was an antisemitic comment, not banter – then ownership deserves what’s coming to them and should help the hard working staff find jobs.

Incredibly sad that even in Boca, this has happened.

    2. Kristina Maraj, I have a fair and polite question. According to your response, how is it that you must “learn” that antisemitism has no place in your values? This statement proves that you HAVE valued being racist and only after Mr. Maraj was “caught”, you are reconsidering your beliefs and values. I would wager that you and yours are now even more antisemitic than ever but must take cover by cloaking yourselves in deceit. Keep looking at these responses, Ma’am. Your losses have only begun. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

  7. Friends don’t call their friends “Jew Cunt”. And the rest of the text displays anger and resentment toward ALL Jews implying no Jewish persons business is desired by Champion Porsche. The response and his resignation without apologizing to the Jewish community is insufficient. I suggest Champion take the co-owner to Auschwitz and then to Israel to learn about tolerance towards the Jewish people. And I suggest the same to the TWO pathetic Porschefans who posted Jew hating ignorant comments as well.

  8. many times i have shared rude, obnoxious and terrible things to my closest lifelong friends back and forth to break balls and laugh together with not an ounce of hate toward one another but love of the absurdly rude language.
Its A PERSONAL CONVERSATION BETWEEN TWO PEOPLE IN THEIR OWN CONTEXT OF COMMUNICATION!!!
THIS WORLD IS FILLED WITH IDIOT SNOWFLAKES!! IT’S PERSONAL/PRIVATE PERIOD!! Go F yourselves
