Mike Grajales is dead following a crash in Boynton Beach, according to police.

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A young man is dead following a two vehicle crash in Boynton Beach. The Boynton Beach Police Department issued this statement to BocaNewsNow.com. We publish it as it was received:

Boynton Beach Police responded to a vehicle versus motorcycle traffic crash around 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 16, near the 1400 block of North Congress Avenue, that resulted in the death of 19-year-old Mike Grajales. 

The preliminary investigation reveals that the motorcycle, driven by Grajales, was traveling northbound on Congress Avenue while a vehicle was traveling west on Renaissance Way, at which time the driver of the vehicle attempted a left turn to travel south on Congress Avenue.

Grajales attempted to take evasive action and ultimately collided with the vehicle. Grajales was transported to Delray Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The investigation is ongoing.

  1. When you ride a bike you need to assume that NOBODY sees you which most prescribe to. Much more than likely a 19yo male was speeding because bikes on dry pavement can stop really quick. At the limit he should have been able to avoid a collision even though the other driver may have initially been at fault. I rode a Ninja 900 for over 10 years thus I know what I’m talking about…DRIVE THE LIMIT its there for a reason. Condolences…
