Patricio Herrera, Once Bartender At Restaurant In the Seven Bridges Community, Again Behind Bars…

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Terrifying moments for a man leaving LA Fitness in Boca Raton when he discovered another man in his car. The alleged victim chased the suspect — identified as Patricio Herrera — from LA Fitness to Tri-Rail where security and ultimately Boca Raton PD picked up the pursuit. Herrera, who was once the bartender for the restaurant in the West Delray Beach community of Seven Bridges, was eventually taken into custody. He has a lengthy history of interaction with law enforcement in Palm Beach County.
BocaNewsNow.com obtained the police report which we are publishing, below. We have redacted the alleged victim’s name:
>> On June 2, 2025, at approximately 1116 hours, I responded to the first floor of the parking garage at 4950 Technology Way (LA Fitness), in response to a burglary investigation. Upon arrival, I met with (alleged victim) the owner of the Black Toyota Corolla who stated that at 1043 hours he had opened the door of his Toyota and discovered a W/M sitting inside the front passenger seat going through his glove box who was later identified as Patricio Herrera. (The alleged victim) then stated that Herrera then got out of the vehicle through the front passenger door and began to run Northeast towards Yamato Rd and (the alleged victim) began to run after hin dropping his keys, gloves, hoodie on the ground. The alleged victim then began to chase after Herrera when according to (the alleged victim) Herrera stated, “I only stole four dollars,” and then threw the $4 on sidewalk of the exit/entrance road for the Iri Rail station.

Herrera then ran Eastbound towards the Tri Rail station and got onto the West side ramp and was stopped by Allied Universal Security Ofc. Brent Hill who took a photo of Herrera who then ran Northbound away from the Tri Rail at which (the alleged victim) stopped chasing Herrera. The alleged victim stated that he left the rear passenger window slightly down where Herrera could have gotten inside the vehicle. Herrera was taken into custody by Captain Graham at the Yamato overpass and transported to Boca Raton Regional Hospital as Herrera has abrasions on his body that were from previous actions that he did not wish to explain. The alleged victim stated that he did not give Herrera permission to enter the vehicle, and he wishes to prosecute. A show up was conducted by Sergeant Baerga and (the alleged victim) confirmed that Herrera was the suspect that was actively burglarizing his vehicle.
Detective Williamson and Detective Hanely responded to assist with the investigation, see their supplement for further. Detective Williamson advised that Herrera was read his constitutional rights and Herrera stated that he got lost and ended up in the parking lot where (the alleged victim) “roughed him up.” Herrera advised that his DNA would not be found on the money or any vehicle. This story completely contradicts what the victim stated and what evidence was collected on scene. CST Phelan responded and processed the vehicle and pulled latent prints. Additionally, she swabbed the money for DNA, see her supplement for further. Herrera consented to a DNA sample which he provided to Detective Williamson.
Based on my investigation, I arrested Patricio Herrara for Burglary to a Conveyance. He intentionally got inside the vehicle and then opened the glove box and rummaged through to deprive (the alleged victim) of the $4 that Herrera stole from the vehicle. As a result, Patricio Herrera is being charged with 1 count of Burglary to a Conveyance pursuant to (F.S.S. 810.02(4b)) and one count of Felony Petit Theft pursuant to (F.s.s. 812,014(3C)) due to Herrera having two prior convictions of Larceny. <<
Patricio Herrera is being held in the Palm Beach County Jail on $5,000 bond as of Tuesday morning. When not in jail, he lists the 5000 block of Petal Place in Delray Beach as his home address. Read our previous coverage of this suspect’s arrests here.

can we get an arrest count for seven bridges??….like the count you give for kingspoing
It’s dramatically dropped over the past few years, and we’re not sure an ex employee of a vendor would count. We’re checking our rules and regulations and will update as necessary. We do know the count doesn’t come anywhere near Kings Point.
