BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boca Raton man is just days into a ten year prison sentence after Snapchat called law enforcement, and Comcast/Xfinity, TMobile, Google, and others got involved. Austin Cordoba of the 6500 block of Spring Bottom Way is now a resident of the Charlotte County Correctional Facility.
According to an arrest affidavit obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, Cordoba, 21, uploaded images of adults engaged in illegal acts with very young children. He also stated in a chat that he would personally engage in acts with children aged five or younger. Snapchat flagged the images and chats and alerted the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. NCMEC notified the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office which launched an investigation.
PBSO was notified in early January of 2024. Within days, PBSO detectives had warrants for many aspects of Cordoba’s online life. Comcast/Xfinity verified Cordoba’s IP address. TMobile verified his location. Google provided court-ordered access to files kept in Gmail and Google Drive. By March 15, 2024, Austin Cordoba was in custody. Over the months that followed, Coroba entered a guilty plea and was sentenced to ten years in prison, five years of probation, and a $21,600 fine.

Coroba was officially registered as a “sex offender” on Wednesday. He was then turned over by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office to the Florida Department of Corrections.
