Police just made the 76th arrest of a person living in Kings Point Delray Beach since 2023.

DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office just made the 76th Kings Point resident arrest since 2023. The latest to be locked up: Robert Jacobowitz of Waterford G. He was taken into custody on Wednesday.

Arrest records reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com indicate that Jacobowitz, 56, got into an altercation with a family member living in his unit. That altercation turned physical and led to a call for police assistance. Jacobowitz was taken into custody, charged with “battery on a person 65 or older” and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail. He remains held as of mid-morning on Tuesday.

Jacobowitz is the 76th resident of Kings Point Delray Beach to be arrested since 2023. He’s the 56th resident to be arrested since 2024, and the 26th this year. While Jacobowitz has had other court action in Palm Beach County, records dating back to 2015 show this is his first arrest.

Robert Jacobowitz joins scores of other Kings Point Delray Beach residents who have been arrested — and at times convicted — over the past few years. Among them: residents accused of sex crimes, violent crimes, gun crimes, possession of illegal child images, driving under the influence, and more. Unofficial records maintained by BocaNewsNow.com indicate there is no other senior living community in South Palm Beach County with as many resident arrests as Kings Point Delray Beach.
