BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Pot on a college campus? No way. But FAU Police say “yes, way,” when it comes to the arrest of Dean Walter Herrmann. The 18 year old Saint Lucie Avenue resident was taken into custody early Monday morning by FAU police and released on $5,000 bond late in the day.
The official charges: “Marijuana Distribution and Delivery within 1000 feet of a college” as well as “Drug Equipment, Possession And Or Use.”
Florida Atlantic University doesn’t have its own jail so Herrmann was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.
Herrmann has no other history with the court system in Palm Beach County. A trial is pending.
