UPDATE at 3:30 p.m. from Boca Raton Fire Rescue: “Today, August 2, 2025, Boca Raton Fire Rescue crews responded to a structure fire in Northeast Boca Raton. The call was

received by dispatch at 1:53 p.m. for a report of a residential fire. Upon arrival, crews observed heavy smoke and flames coming from the home.

Preliminary information indicates that no one was inside the residence at the time the fire began. Firefighters acted quickly to contain the blaze, although some fire did extend to the backyard area. Crews remain on scene at this time. An investigation into the cause of the fire will begin once the scene is safe and conditions allow for a thorough inspection. Currently, there are no reported injuries to civilians or fire personnel.”

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A house fire in Boca Raton mid-day Saturday is being battled by the Boca Raton Fire Department. The fire in the house at 2700 NE 2nd Avenue was reported just before 2 p.m.

At least ten fire trucks and related pieces of equipment were dispatched to the scene of the one floor home. No injuries were reported. A hazardous material team was also dispatched to the fire location.

Expect roads in the area to be closed throughout the afternoon. The home is just under 2000 square feet and sits on NE 2nd Avenue between 28th Street and 26th Streeet, just east of North Dixie Highway.
