Marino, a Republican, stated: “the county embraces any and all opportunities to enhance the return on investment for every tax dollar. She also released these bullet points from a pre-recorded video:

We note the “Mayor” position in Palm Beach County is more of a title than anything else. The county is run by a board of county commissioners.
