DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Delray Beach woman is facing multiple charges after she allegedly placed as many as 16 GPS trackers on her ex-boyfriend’s car in Delray Beach. Lauren Wallenta was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on Monday.
According to a police report obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, the problems between Wallenta and her now ex span several months and include a restraining order. Wallenta allegedly violated the order when she was seen in Avalon Beach House (110 East Atlantic Avenue) at the same time her ex was present. Wallenta posted photos of her visit to Instagram, according to the police report.
While investigating the alleged Avalon visit, police obtained multiple tracking devices allegedly placed by Wallenta on her ex’s vehicle over several months. Subpoenas executed on the GPS tracking company revealed that they were registered to an email address allegedly used by Wallenta.
Lauren Wallenta is now charged with installation of a tracking device and violation of a domestic violence injunction. She was booked into jail and later posted $10,000 bond. A court date is pending. She lists the 14000 block of Enclave Preserve Circle as her home address.
