BOCA RUDETON: Readers say “real illegals” are people bringing dogs into restaurants and stores. “Should be sent to Alligator Alcatraz.”

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Say what you will about President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, but this much is true: both are “law and order” leaders, and both have a low tolerance for scofflaws. In Florida, it’s illegal to bring a non-service dog into a restaurant or supermarket. And it’s also illegal to lie about a dog’s training. That means anyone illegally bringing a dog into a facility is, by definition, an “illegal” and must be dealt with. Both President Trump and Governor DeSantis continue to speak out against “illegals.” Readers say it’s time that these selfish pet-owning “Illegals” are arrested and locked up.

The staff that compiles the weekly Boca Rudeton™ nominations asked Google Gemini what it might look like if the National Guard was deployed to deal with illegals in Palm Beach County. Not people with citizenship questions, but people who illegally bring their dogs where they don’t belong. The resulting image, above, pretty much nailed it. The image, of course, is AI generated. The images below are incredibly real. Here are this week’s Boca Rudeton™ nominations:

We start, shockingly, at Publix. Despite huge signs telling people that no pets are allowed, this woman — with a service dog leash that you can buy on Amazon (presumably along with the tutu) — apparently figured she could do anything she wants. Why? Because she has a leash that says “service dog.” Maybe the National Guard could start with this woman seen in the Boca Greens Publix location near U.S. 441 and Yamato Road.

OMG, it’s shockingly another woman with a dog in Publix. This time it’s Publix at Hidden Valley At 7431 North Federal Highway in Boca Raton. Looks like the National Guard will need a major deployment in South Palm Beach County. The good news is that we hear captors at Alligator Alcatraz assign everyone purple Lulu Lemon yoga pants with a super cool “Alligator Alcatraz” logo. This woman will fit right in.

To Lake Worth we go and Egg-Cetera at 6346 Lantana Road. That’s where our tipster questions why this dog is in a restaurant for humans, and also why the dog was given a bowl of water. Not that the dog isn’t entitled to water. Just that it’s not entitled to be in a restaurant in Florida unless it’s a trained service animal. Did we ever mention that it’s illegal to lie about a dog’s training? As always, our friends at LaBamba in Delray Beach — an authentic Mexican restaurant — make it clear for anyone who is still confused:

Talking about dogs in restaurants, you’ve got to wonder what these people were thinking when they brought this dog into Gary Rack’s Farmhouse at 399 SE Mizner Boulevard in Boca Raton.

Gary Rack is known as a professional Restaurateur, which is why our tipster wonders why a person with a track record of successful restaurants would ever permit a dog to destroy the experience for others. Again, dogs are not allowed, unless the dog is a trained service animal providing a legitimate function. Climbing up a barstool begging for food is not traditionally considered to be the legitimate function of a service dog. But our tipster says the man told a restaurant employee that it is a service animal. Yup.

Why oh why does this woman need a dog at Bagel City South in Boca Raton? 6006 SW 18th Street is the address of the restaurant that you might want to avoid if you are looking for a clean, dog-free dining experience. That’s where a tipster saw this woman and her dog on Saturday. The tipster said other dogs were present, too.

Let’s move on to parking, and the always high class “The Boca Raton.” That’s where our tipster noticed a Dodge Journey parked right under a no parking sign. Hello owner of high class car with tag QNNJ22. Maybe park in a parking space?

At “Looking Sharp Eyewear” at 8177 Glades Road, the driver of this car may need a new pair of glasses. That’s the only logical conclusion when one looks at the Chevy Equinox with Florida plate PU47M. It’s not even close to parking legally. In fact, this parking job is like being a little bit pregnant. (You either are or you aren’t). You can’t just be a just a little handicapped so it’s okay to park a little bit in a handicapped spot.

Outside the Walmart at 441 and Lake Worth Road, a tipster noticed this car with Florida plate HXK-R63. The car — or more likely, the driver of the car — seems confused. Why else would it be parked in what is clearly a “no parking” zone that borders on a handicapped space?
THE BOCA RUDETON WINNER OF THE WEEK!
Those are the nominees for this week’s Boca Rudeton. We know, you’re wondering who the winner is and what the winner wins. We were wondering too. Our team crunched the numbers and came to the only conclusion possible. The winner… The couple at Gary Rack’s with the “service dog” climbing up the barstool apparently wanting food. ‘Cause all service dogs do that. Congrats! You are special people!

Readers of Boca Rudeton know that we don’t really give prizes, but if we did, it would be this ticket to Alligator Alcatraz! It’s good for two adults and one dog, so the man, woman, and dog should fit in perfectly. In fact, we know the alligators will love your dog as much as the diners at Gary Rack’s did! Also included, a pair of beautiful purple Lulu Lemon Alligator Alcatraz pants. (Both courtesy of Google Gemini).

Why oh why don’t these folks get it about dogs & parking their vehicles? It ain’t that difficult to follow the laws that we have on the books guys. So, stop parking illegally and leave your animals and “fake” service dogs at home already! You’re no batter then the rest of us who do follow the laws in place! Stop your crazy entitlement already!!!
And for you folks who seem to think this is no big deal…stick it in your ear to! Don’t encourage these entitled jerks as it just makes you jerks also!!!
With all the horrible and frightening things our country is facing, Boca News would be more credible if, it was less petty about relatively unimportant issues. For the small minority of dog owners who are disrespectful we should find a punishment such as a fine‼️
Brilliant! Dogs should never be in a food store…
🤣🥲😃🤔😂🎃
Like it or not the law applies to EVERYONE.
If you don’t like the law , get it changed.
Until then , comply or face the penalties .
ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? First, you start this ridiculous article with “Say what you will about President Trump and Governor DeSantis…” So I will. I think they are doing a GREAT job. You are obviously woke and maybe you even have protested these dogs in stores with songs outside the stores. REALLY BOCA NEWS NOW. There’s SO MUCH happening in the world and if the store owners cared as much as you do, they would kick these people out. Is it right they bring their dogs in? No but what else isn’t right is how petty you are when there are real news stories that you could be posting. People are jerks, they will park and not care. We ALL KNOW THIS. They will bring their dogs into a store with a clear sign that says no dogs. And there are those who write ridiculous stories like this
If you think they’re doing a great job, you’re the problem. And if you’re so offended by people being called out for doing dumb and blatantly illegal things, DON’T READ THE ARTICAL, Karen.
Typical MAGA Karen probably cannot even identify the term “woke” , but throws it out with the frequency that she gets her Botox injections.
Where are the managers of the Publix stores and the restaurants? Are they blind to the animals in their midsts? Have other patrons complained to the managers? Has any action been taken? I would like to hear from Publix, other than the signs which are ignored.
Great job Boca News!! 👏👏👏
The tip that sees people parking in the OR section or approaching on a handicap spot should not take a picture but call the local police. It’s a $250 or $500 fine it’s no different than parking in that handicap spot without a handicap, placard one such ticket and they’ll get the message.
5 stars. This reads like an Onion Post. I never laughed this hard at a headline.
To the people replying this, i feel like stupid news is better than bad news.
Amazing how crazy this page is about dogs & Trump. Trumps doing an awesome job, and the ones who say he isn’t haven’t said what they don’t like about him or why he’s bad. Just typical Dem vs Rep hate.
As for dogs,….I just went on Amazon and ordered me 2 new Service Animal Collar for my dogs. Good luck seeing my paperwork as I’m not required to show it.
there is a simple fix here…once the picture is taken, give it to law enforcement and have the store or restaurant fined or closed down until they learn to follow the rules…put a security guard out front, that create jobs and tell people NO…your dog is not permitted on the premise unless you show proper paperwork
Evidently these MORONS can’t read and ignorance is no excuse for the law.
Was at Stadium Publix in Viera which is in Brevard County to pick up a few things and walked past a couple with a dog and said are you kidding me. The man immediately said it was a service dog and had a vest. I advised him that it was against the law and that he was putting my health at risk. As the volume of our exchange got louder I told him to call the police and if he didn’t leave I was calling them. He left the store. Surprisingly not one publix employee came to see what was going on. A patron who witnessed the episode remarked that it wasn’t worth it. I replied that it was totally worth it and if more people caused a scene rather than enabling the behavior it would stop.
I think you should add a couple doggie legs coming out of the alligator’s mouth on the Alligator Alcatraz logo for the Lulu Lemon Yoga pants.
