New Bond Hearing Set For Norman Riemer.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Former Palm Beach County School Teacher Norman Riemer may be granted bond this week — several months after his arrest for allegedly molesting two girls in the home he shares with his now ex-principal wife. Norman Riemer is the husband of Barbara Riemer, the longtime principal of Whispering Pines Elementary School in West Boca Raton. She left that position days after her husband was charged.
As BocaNewsNow.com was first to report hours after his arrest, Norman Riemer was charged in late April with multiple counts of molesting children who regularly visited his Lake Worth house. The young girls allegedly told investigators that Norman repeatedly had them touch his private part as part of what he called a “science experiment.”
Norman Riemer was employed as a science specialist with the Palm Beach County School District. He was terminated a short time after his arrest. He has been held without bond in the Palm Beach County Jail since April 30th. A bond hearing set for last month was canceled. His new hearing is set for Thursday.
Norman Riemer was initially charged with five counts of molestation, but prosecutors dropped three. He now faces two counts which carry a potential sentence of life in prison if he is convicted. Riemer’s Defense Attorneys, Michelle Suskauer and Tyler DiMaio, have declined to comment on the case.
