UPDATE: The scene is clearing as of 5:25 p.m.
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A multi-car crash on I-95 in Boca Raton is slowing traffic northbound as of 4:35 p.m. Saturday. The crash is south of Palmetto Park Road in the northbound lanes.
Several people were injured. Boca Raton Fire Rescue is on the scene. At least one car is in the Express Lane which is causing major traffic delays. Other vehicles involved in the crash are on the right shoulder. Traffic is being reduced to one travel lane near the scene.
Expect delays to continue through the late afternoon. While Boca Raton Fire Rescue and Florida Highway Patrol tend to work quickly when it comes to removing crash vehicles, it appears the location of these vehicles may require lanes to be further closed to tow trucks and related equipment can get in and out.
If you’re not already committed to the scene, we encourage you to get off of I-95 in Deerfield Beach, head north on Powerline/Jog to Glades Road, and then re-enter I-95 at Glades.
