Peter O’Sullivan Lives In The Bridges. Repeatedly Tried To Drive Alfa Romeo Into Addison Reserve, According To Police.

DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A homeowner who lives in “The Bridges” off of Lyons Road north of Clint Moore was allegedly so inebriated that he forgot which community he lived in and tried repeatedly to enter Addison Reserve — several miles away. His repeated attempts — and the appearance of being “wobbly” when he exited his Alfa Romeo to speak with security at Addison Reserve — ultimately led to his arrest by PBSO. Peter O’Sullivan of the 16000 block of Bridge Crossing Circle is now facing multiple charges.
BocaNewsNow.com obtained the report for the arrest arrest which says the situation began around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. That’s when O’Sullivan allegedly approached the guest lane At Addison Reserve and told a security officer he lived inside the community. When his address could not be found, he was asked to leave. The report states that O’Sullivan appeared “wobbly on his feet” after exiting his vehicle. He later returned to the resident lane of the guard gate, prompting the security supervisor at Addison Reserve to call 911 out of concern that O’Sullivan was intoxicated and might cause an accident.
When a sheriff’s deputy arrived, she found O’Sullivan in the driver’s seat of his gray Alfa Romeo. The deputy noted in her report that O’Sullivan’s speech was slurred and that he gave a confusing timeline of his evening, stating he had champagne earlier in the day. Due to the visible signs of impairment, a specialized DUI investigator was dispatched to the scene to evaluate the O’Sullivan.

The DUI investigator also reported observing signs of impairment, including the smell of an alcoholic beverage, watery eyes, and thick, slurred speech. O’Sullivan told the investigator he had consumed three glasses of wine over several hours while celebrating his anniversary At Sicilian Oven. According to the report, O’Sullivan was unsteady on his feet after exiting his car and allegedly performed poorly on multiple field sobriety tasks, ultimately refusing to complete one of the exercises.
Following the field sobriety tasks, O’Sullivan was arrested and transported to the Palm Beach County Jail’s Breath Alcohol Testing center. The report states that after being read Florida’s implied consent warning, which outlines the penalties for not providing a breath sample, O’Sullivan refused to take a breathalyzer test. He was subsequently booked on the DUI charge and refusal to submit to a DUI test which can lead to an automatic license suspension. A court date is pending.
