DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The restaurant known as “Prime 7” in the West Delray Beach gated community of “Seven Bridges” received five “high priority” violations during a health inspection on October 8th. While the restaurant was not ordered to shut down, it will be subjected to an unannounced follow-up inspection.

The violations were logged during a busy week for health inspectors in South Palm Beach County. Another notable entry: Subculture Coffee in Boca Raton which was slapped with an “Administrative Complaint.”

We start with Prime Seven at 16701 Cabernet Drive in Seven Bridges. Per BocaNewsNow.com policy, the following is the list of violations as logged with the State of Florida. We do not edit these entries:

High Priority – Cooked/heated time/temperature control for safety food not cooled from 135 degrees Fahrenheit to 41 degrees Fahrenheit within 6 hours. Observed in four drawer under stove ; cooked peppers (45-46F). Per operator food was prepared yesterday. Observed food cooling overnight. Observed cooling covered. High Priority – Cooked/heated time/temperature control for safety food not cooled from 135 degrees Fahrenheit to 70 degrees Fahrenheit within two hours and from 135 degrees Fahrenheit to 41 degrees Fahrenheit within six hours. See stop sale. Cooked/heated time/temperature control for safety food not cooled from 135 degrees Fahrenheit to 41 degrees Fahrenheit within 6 hours. Observed in four drawer under stove ; cooked peppers (45-46F). Per operator food was prepared yesterday. Observed food cooling overnight. Observed cooling covered. See stop sale.

High Priority – Raw animal food stored over/not properly separated from ready-to-eat food. Observed raw shell eggs stored over sauces in walk in cooler. Operator stored raw shell eggs properly.

High Priority – Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Observed in Reach in across from stove ; heavy whipping cream (46F); . Per operator food not prepared or portioned today. Food held in unit less than four hours. Operator chose to discard with time remaining on clock to save product. Observed in flip top cooler across from grill ; cheese (43-45F); per operator food not prepared or portioned today. Food held in unit less than four hours. Observed cheese past the fill line. Operator chose to discard the cheese out of temperature with time remaining on clock to save product. **Corrected On-Site**

High Priority – Time/temperature control for safety food, other than whole meat roast, hot held at less than 135 degrees Fahrenheit. Observed in steam table marinara sauce 121F. Per operator food was reheated on stove and then placed in steam table. Per operator food held in unit less than four hours. Observed not enough water below marinara sauce. Operator placed food back onto stove to reheat to 165F or higher. **Corrective Action Taken**

At Subculture Coffee (437 Plaza Real in Boca Raton), the restaurant was cited for multiple violations, including employees without proper training. Here is the list as filed with the State of Florida:

High Priority – Dishmachine chlorine sanitizer not at proper minimum strength. Discontinue use of dishmachine for sanitizing and set up manual sanitization until dishmachine is repaired and sanitizing properly 0ppm. Operator set up triple sink until machine is repaired. **Warning**

Intermediate – Handwash sink removed from food preparation/dishwashing area. Must be reinstalled in the same location where removed next to dish machine. **Warning**

Intermediate – Manager or person in charge lacking proof of food manager certification. John Goode Barrista. **Repeat Violation** **Admin Complaint**

Basic – Accumulation of black/green mold-like substance in the interior of the ice machine/bin. **Warning**

Intermediate – Proof of required state approved employee training not available for some employees. To order approved program food safety material, call DBPR contracted provider.

Neither Prime 7 nor SubCulture were ordered to close as a result of the violations.
