LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. – Authorities are investigating a double homicide after two men were found shot to death early Wednesday in Lake Worth Beach.
Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 900 block of South G Street just before 4 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered two adult male victims, both of whom were pronounced dead at the scene from apparent gunshot wounds.
Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division are leading the investigation. Authorities said preliminary information suggests the shooting was not a random act and that the two victims were known to each other.
Police have not released the identities of the victims and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
“Anyone with information in regards to this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
