LAKE WORTH BEACH (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A terrifying situation is under investigation in Lake Worth Beach Thursday afternoon where a car stalled on train tracks and was struck by a Brightline Train.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office issued this statement to BocaNewsNow.com:

>> On Thursday, October 16, 2025, just after 1:00 p.m., deputies responded to a vehicle versus Brightline train crash that occurred at the intersection of 12th Avenue South and South Dixie Highway.

Upon arrival, deputies learned that the vehicle had stalled on the tracks when it was struck by the train. The driver was also hit during the impact. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue personnel responded and transported the driver to a local hospital, where his condition remains unknown at this time.
