BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Calling President Donald Trump a “dictator,” or something that uses the first part of that word, thousands of protestors in Boca Raton, Lake Worth, and across Palm Beach County took part in a “No Kings” rally Saturday.

The protests in Palm Beach County were apparently all peaceful. We’ve received no reports of any problems at all requiring police intervention. Police were on the scene of protests across the area to ensure that the No Kings protests — and those protesting the protests — could exercise free speech in a time where many on both sides of the aisle argue that several Republicans are trying to curtail free speech.

The No Kings protests locally were part of a national day of “No Kings” protests where organizes say they are reminding elected officials that they are, in fact, elected and not ordained. Ironically, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson called those taking part in No Kings protests “Anti American.” In a related story, Hamilton the musical continues to sell out shows in New York City.
