Airlines NOT Responsible for Food, Lodging During Shutdown.
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The flight problems continue at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Palm Beach International Airport, and Miami International Airport. As of mid-day Monday, nearly 100 inbound and out flights are canceled at South Florida’s major airports.
At FLL, at least 11 JetBlue flights have been axed as of noon Monday, with Southwest, Spirit, Delta, united, and American also logging cancellations. JetBlue also leads with deals — 40 flight delays as of noon. Southwest, Spirit, Delta, United, American, Aztec, Frontier, Breeze, Porter, Air Canada Rogue, Air Transit, Avelo, Westjet, and Western Air have also reported delays.
At MIA, Envoy Air tops the list, with American, Delta, Southwest, Iberia, and United all showing cancellations. American Airlines, the dominant carrier at MIA, has logged 53 delays and 12 cancellations as of noon.
At PBI, United is the cancellation leader, with seven flights canceled as of noon. Jetblue and American each report three cancellations each. For delays, however, the list is long. JetBlue is reporting 22 delays as of noon Monday out of PBI, with united, Delta, Frontier, Breeze, Southwest, Allegiant, and Air Canada also on the list.
