Katie Elizabeth Harrold, 40, was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol just before midnight on November 10, 2025.
According to citations reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, a trooper observed Harrold’s 2018 gray Mercedes driving erratically southbound on The Florida Turnpike near mile marker 83 which is north of Atlantic Avenue. The officer noted that Harrold “failed to maintain a single lane,” “almost collided with several vehicles,” and “drove on the outside shoulder.” The vehicle was paced at 60 mph for a quarter-mile during this period.
Harrold was subsequently charged with Driving Under the Influence (Misdemeanor) and issued a separate infraction for Careless Driving, which the Trooper also marked as “Aggressive Driving.” The DUI citation indicates that Harrold refused to submit to a lawful breath, blood, or urine test. Her driver’s license was seized, and she was issued a 10-day temporary driving permit.

Harrold, of the 12600 block of NW 159th Lane in Pembroke Pines, is scheduled to appear in court for the criminal DUI charge on November 17, 2025. She was released from jail on $2,000 bond mid-day Tuesday.
