
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A man staying at the Quality Inn on North Federal Highway in Boca Raton was rushed to Delray Medical Center around 6:30 Saturday morning after he apparently shot himself in the head.
Sources tell BocaNewsNow.com that a woman rushed to the front desk of the Quality inn around 6:10 this morning to tell a hotel worker that the man had shot himself. The Quality Inn employee immediately called 911. Boca Raton Fire Rescue and Boca Raton Police rushed to the scene — arriving just minutes later.
After police secured the gun, paramedics apparently determined the man was still alive and worked to medically stabilize him. He was sped to Delray Medical Center which is the region’s trauma center. Hs condition was unclear mid-morning Saturday.
