PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — There is a “major” slowdown on I-95 north Tuesday morning in the area of West Palm Beach. If you are heading north as of 7:45 a.m., you may want to consider an alternate route.

The Florida Department of Transportation reports that a multi-car crash near 45th Street has blocked several lanes. The good news: no one was seriously injured. The bad news, as you can see from the FDOT image, the crash covers a rather large area which will make slow down clean-up and vehicle removal.

The backup we are told spans several miles. Expect that to continue for at least the next 30 minutes if not longer.

Your best bet: get off I-95 well before the scene, head north on Military Trail, and then rejoin I-95 at Blue Heron Boulevard.
