Blood In House. Officer Kicked. We Now Have The Arrest Report…

DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Thanksgiving night gathering on Sea Grape Circle in Delray Beach ended in violence and a trip to jail for a 34-year-old resident accused of battering his girlfriend and her father before fighting with police. Brandon Carl Jaskiewicz was arrested Thanksgiving night and faces multiple charges, including battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer with violence, and domestic battery, according to court documents reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com. The documents were just updated and released.
Delray Beach Police officers responded to the home just after 11 p.m. following reports of a domestic disturbance that a witness warned was turning physical. Upon entering the residence, police describe finding a chaotic scene with a “large amount of blood” on the living room floor. Officers say they found Jaskiewicz, who was naked at the time, on top of the female victim’s father behind a couch. The older man was bleeding heavily from a severe arm injury while his daughter stood nearby crying.
According to the arrest report, the situation escalated when officers attempted to intervene. Jaskiewicz allegedly refused commands to get off the victim and became aggressive, eventually forcing officers to take him to the ground to secure handcuffs. Even after being restrained, police say Jaskiewicz kicked one officer in the leg. Witnesses told investigators the altercation began after Jaskiewicz returned from a neighborhood party and began arguing with his girlfriend. When her father intervened to stop Jaskiewicz from pinning her against a bathroom wall, a struggle ensued that resulted in the father being thrown through a glass shower door.

The father was transported to a local hospital for treatment of the laceration to his arm but reportedly declined to press charges against Jaskiewicz. Jaskiewicz was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and later released on bond. Prosecutors ultimately reduced the charges to misdemeanors and didn’t proceed with the battery on an officer charge. Court action continues. Jaskiewicz is currently ordered to remain in Palm Beach County.
