BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer Thursday confirmed that he is running for Congress. He plans to unseat Jared Moskowitz.
Singer’s website went live Thursday morning. It is ScottSingerUSA.com. Singer, always a media-savvy politician, has increased his media presence lately. He promoted Boca Raton as a business and finance-friendly location — in New York City media — before socialist Zohran Mamdani was elected New York City Mayor.
From Singer’s website: “Scott Singer is running to represent Florida’s 23rd district in Congress. As Congressman, he will keep taxes and costs low, and ensure strong borders and national defense.
We deserve accountability from Congress and leaders who are interested in results more than headlines. Scott has a strong record as mayor of Boca Raton where he served our community honorably for more than decade and got things done. He removed harmful red tape negatively affecting our local businesses. In Congress, he will work to advance the America First agenda.
Scott has a strong record of results as Mayor of Boca Raton where he balanced budgets while working to advance public safety, education, affordability, and accountability. He led innovative efforts to partner for more classroom seats, improved school safety, and mobility solutions, while increasing accountability by streamlining and cutting red tape. Now, he is running for Congress to deliver common-sense, America First policies that protect our families, our safety, and our future. “
Scott Singer is a Republican. Jared Moskowitz is a Democrat. This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
