PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A horrific head-on collision in Loxahatchee late Sunday night claimed three lives after a driver traveled the wrong way on State Road 80. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reports that the multi-vehicle wreck occurred just before 11 p.m. in the 19700 block of the highway, near Arden Lake Way. Investigators say a 2011 Toyota Tacoma turned onto the road in the wrong direction, heading eastbound in the westbound lanes and setting off a chain reaction of collisions.

The wrong-way Toyota slammed head-on into a 2017 Chevy Equinox traveling westbound. The force of the initial impact was so severe that the Equinox was projected into the path of a third vehicle, a 2025 Ford Bronco Sport. While the driver of the Bronco attempted to swerve and avoid the wreckage, they were unable to clear the Equinox, resulting in a secondary collision.  The aftermath of the crash was devastating. The Toyota Tacoma overturned onto its driver’s side in the center of the roadway and became fully engulfed in flames.

The driver of the Toyota, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. Inside the Chevy Equinox, both the driver, 51-year-old Sasha Treadway of Michigan, and her passenger, 37-year-old Kristara Lasalle-Corujo of Cape Coral, also sustained fatal injuries.  The driver of the Ford Bronco Sport, identified as 24-year-old Bradley King of West Palm Beach, was uninjured in the crash. He brought his vehicle to a controlled stop just east of the intersection.

Traffic homicide investigators remained on the scene for hours to document the wreckage, which left the Equinox resting in the grass median. No charges have been filed.
