BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — At least three people are dead in a Monday night crash in north Broward County. BocaNewsNow.com has confirmed the fatalities. One person died on the scene, two others died en route to — or after arrival at — an area hospital. It is unclear if additional people have been killed or injured.
The crash is in the 1600 block of North Federal Highway in Pompano Beach. Motorists are being urged to stay away from the area. Here is the official statement from the Broward Sheriff’s Office:
>>At about 7 p.m. this evening, Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of a traffic crash in the 1600 block of North Federal Highway in Pompano Beach. According to detectives, there are multiple fatalities. The investigation is active and ongoing, and the roadway in that area is shut down while the investigation proceeds. Motorists are asked to find alternate routes of travel.<<
