The Florida Department of Law Enforcement officially activated a Missing Child Alert on Saturday for Jordan Tobey, who disappeared from Longboat Key in Manatee County.
Investigators say Jordan was last seen in the area of the 4800 block of Gulf of Mexico Drive. When she was last spotted, she was wearing a black sweatshirt and black shorts. Officials believe she may be traveling on a red Trek bicycle and carrying a black backpack.
Jordan is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 133 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. Law enforcement agencies across the region are on high alert, and the public is being asked to keep a sharp eye out for anyone matching her description or the distinctive red bicycle.
