Three people are dead, including the gunman, in a Monday afternoon office building shooting in Boynton Beach.

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Boynton Beach Police Monday evening released official information regarding the triple shooting that took place Monday afternoon:

”Boynton Beach Police received a report of a shooting inside an office building near the 2400 block of High Ridge around 4 p.m. this afternoon. Responding officers located two individuals who were suffering from fatal gunshot wounds.

A suspect was quickly identified. Shortly after, a concerned resident called in a suspicious vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle near the 500 block of Northwest 7th Court. Officers immediately located the vehicle and initiated a high-risk traffic stop. The suspect’s vehicle failed to stop and after a brief pursuit, the vehicle crashed near 133 Leisureville Boulevard. At that point, the suspect was found with a fatal self-inflicted gunshot wound.

During the course of the investigation, multiple schools and businesses were placed on a precautionary lockdown. At this time, all lockdowns have been lifted and there is no immediate threat to the community. The investigation is ongoing.”

High Ridge is west of I-95 and north of Gateway Boulevard.
