Boca Raton Fire Rescue is on the scene of an elevator transformer fire at Boca Raton Regional Hospital as of 9:40 a.m. Tuesday.

Initial information received by BocaNewsNow.com indicates the problem is an elevator transformer that is smoking. It’s unclear if flames have actually been seen, but the situation did result in alarms being heard throughout the Boca Raton Regional Hospital complex.

There are NO reports of any injuries and again, there is no report of an evacuation. Medical procedures and care continue in the facility.
