Olivia Burns Also Habitual Offender, According To Police.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Wellington woman is facing multiple charges after a late-night traffic stop in the City of Boca Raton. Olivia Cabot Burns, 29, was pulled over by Boca Raton Police just before midnight on January 16th after an officer spotted her black Porsche Macan weaving across lanes and crossing the fog line while traveling southbound on Federal Highway. Police also claimed the vehicle’s registration had been expired for several months.
When the officer made contact with Burns near Royal Palm Way, she allegedly had bloodshot eyes and said she had lost her driver’s license weeks earlier. While she told police she was heading home to Wellington from the West Boca area, the officer noted she was actually traveling in the opposite direction. East Boca does NOT sit between West Boca and Wellington.
Burns initially refused to participate in field sobriety exercises but was taken into custody based on the officer’s observations of her driving and physical state. She later provided breath samples of .069 and .064 — both under the legal limit. Police say she admitted to having “unknown” amounts of wine earlier in the evening.
There’s also the issue of a clear plastic baggie that police say they found in the center console of her vehicle containing roughly 1.5 grams of a white powdery substance. That led to a felony charge for possession of a controlled substance.

Records checks revealed that Burns is classified as a habitual traffic offender, resulting in an additional charge for driving with a revoked license. She was jailed on charges of DUI, cocaine possession, and driving with a revoked license, then released on more than $12,000 bond. A court date is set for later this month.
