DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) –For the seventh time this year and the 91st time since 2023, a resident of the senior living community of Kings Point in Delray Beach was also a resident of the Palm Beach County Jail.

This time, it’s Jeremy Mankoff, who at 38 is much younger than the traditional resident of a senior living community. Mankoff lives in the Flanders section of Kings Point. It’s unclear if he’s living with someone who would be considered a more age-appropriate resident of the 55+ facility.

Mankoff was taken into custody on February 6th by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. He’s charged with battery. It was not immediately clear who he allegedly battered, how, or where. He was released on $1000 bond several hours after his initial lockup.

Mankoff’s arrest brings the Kings Point Alleged Criminal Count to seven so far for 2026, 42 since the start of 2025. 91 since the start of 2023. Among the arrestees: residents charged with sex crimes, violent crimes, domestic violence, child sex crimes, weapons offenses, DUI, drug possession and distribution, and more. Unofficial records maintained by BocaNewsNow.com suggest there is no other senior living community in South Palm Beach County that logs more resident arrests than Kings Point.
