BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Major projects will again slow your go this week in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Wellington, Lake Worth, and all over Palm Beach County. With thanks to FDOT and Palm Beach County, here’s a list of the major situations you need to know about:
MAJOR INTERSTATE 95 PROJECTS
I-95 at Boynton Beach Boulevard Interchange Improvements
• Boynton Beach Blvd: One lane closed in each direction, 9 p.m. – 6 a.m., Sunday through Saturday night. Westbound turn lane to I-95 South closed 9 p.m. – 6 a.m. (Detour via W. Industrial Ave).
• I-95 Mainline: Up to three lanes closed in each direction, 10 p.m. – 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday night. A fourth lane may be closed if needed.
• Ramp Impacts: All traffic on the I-95 Southbound exit to Boynton Beach Blvd must stop on red (no free-flowing right turn).
• Full Nightly Ramp Closures (9 p.m. – 6 a.m., Sun-Thu):
• NB Exit to Boynton Beach Blvd: Detour via Woolbright Rd to U.S. 1.
• SB Exit to Boynton Beach Blvd: Detour via Gateway Blvd to U.S. 1.
• NB Entrance from Boynton Beach Blvd: Detour via Gateway Blvd.
• SB Entrance from Boynton Beach Blvd: Detour via Woolbright Rd.
I-95 Ramps Safety Improvement Project (Advance Notices)
• NB Off-Ramp to Westbound Indiantown Rd: Closed 8 p.m. – 6 a.m., Monday, March 2.
• SB Off-Ramp to Eastbound Indiantown Rd: Closed 8 p.m. – 6 a.m., Tuesday, March 3.
• NB Off-Ramp to Westbound PGA Blvd: Closed 8 p.m. – 6 a.m., Wednesday, March 4.
• NB On-Ramp from Eastbound Okeechobee Blvd: Closed 8 p.m. – 6 a.m., Thursday, March 5.
BOCA RATON, HIGHLAND BEACH & DELRAY BEACH
U.S. 441/S.R. 7 (Glades Rd. to Bridgebrook Dr.)
• Intermittent outside lane closures in both directions, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
S.R. A1A/South Ocean Blvd (Linton Blvd. to Atlantic Ave.)
• Single lane closures in both directions, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Flaggers will be present.
S.R. A1A/South Ocean Blvd Resurfacing (Highland Beach/Delray)
• Intermittent lane closures between 1708 S. Ocean Blvd and 4801 S. Ocean Blvd, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
S.R. 806/Atlantic Avenue Reconstruction
• U.S. 441/S.R. 7: Northbound and Southbound single lane closures from Rio Grande Ave to Tivoli Isles Blvd, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
• Atlantic Avenue: Nightly lane closures between U.S. 441 and the Turnpike, 8:30 p.m. – 6 a.m.
• Smith Sundy Rd: Nightly closures 8:30 p.m. – 6 a.m., Monday through Thursday.
• Sidewalks: Westbound sidewalk (Lyons to Turnpike) and Northbound sidewalk (Atlantic to Saturnia Isles) are closed; detours in place.
Atlantic Ave. & Homewood Blvd / Okeechobee Blvd. & Haverhill Rd.
• Atlantic & Homewood: Intermittent lane closures 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
• Okeechobee & Haverhill: Various lane and turn-lane closures, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. or 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Feb 23–27.
Boca Raton Maintenance
• Glades Road: Westbound at Shadowood Square, rolling lane closures Feb 24–25 for sign work.
BOYNTON BEACH, LAKE WORTH & WEST PALM BEACH
S.R. 804/Boynton Beach Blvd (Orchid Grove Trl. to Palm Isles Dr.)
• Single outside lane closures, 8 p.m. – 6 a.m., Feb 23–27.
• Two eastbound lanes closed from Orchid Grove to Hagen Ranch Rd, 8 p.m. – 6 a.m., Feb 23–27.
S.R. A1A at Boynton Inlet Bridge
• Intermittent sidewalk closures, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Feb 23–27.
S.R. 5/U.S. 1 (Belvedere Rd. to Okeechobee Blvd.)
• All lanes currently open; project beginning April 2026.
S.R. A1A/South Ocean Blvd (Lake Ave. to Ibis Way)
• Flagging operations with single lane closures, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
• Nightly closures near Lake Ave, 8 p.m. – 7 a.m., Sunday through Thursday night.
S.R. A1A/South Ocean Blvd (Emerald Beach Way to Royal Palm Way)
• Flagging operations with single lane closures as needed, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
• Note: New traffic pattern at the Mar-a-Lago traffic circle; vehicles entering must yield to those already in the circle.
NORTHERN PALM BEACH COUNTY
U.S. 1/S.R. 5 (59th St. to Northlake Blvd.)
• Daily outside lane closures 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and nightly 9 p.m. – 7 a.m.
• Sidewalk closed Northbound from Access Rd to W. 11th St. through June 2026.
S.R. 710/Beeline Highway Reconstruction
• Beeline Hwy: Various lane closures between Blue Heron Blvd and Northlake Blvd, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. or 8 p.m. – 6 a.m.
• Northlake Blvd: Lane closures and traffic shifts near the Beeline intersection; U-turns unavailable.
• Blue Heron Blvd: Eastbound outside lane closed 7 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday and Tuesday.
• Turnpike Bridge: Nightly closures 8 p.m. – 6 a.m. through February.
S.R. 811/Alt A1A (RCA Blvd. to Donald Ross Rd.)
• Daytime lane/sidewalk closures 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Feb 23–27.
• Nightly Northbound left lane closure 8 p.m. – 6 a.m., Feb 22–26.
U.S. 1 Earman River Bridge Replacement
• Traffic shifted to the southbound bridge; two lanes open in each direction.
• Marine Impact: Earman River channel closed through Spring 2027.
PGA Boulevard
• Single right lane closure on drawbridges, 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. through March 4.
WESTERN PALM BEACH COUNTY
S.R. 80/Southern Blvd & S.R. 7/U.S. 441 Ramps
• Northbound S.R. 7 outside lane closed continuously starting March 2 through Summer 2026.
• Nightly lane closures on Southern Blvd ramps, 7 p.m. – 7 a.m., Feb 23–27.
S.R. 15/E Main Street (Pahokee)
• Intermittent lane closures 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
U.S. 27/S.R. 25 (EAA Reservoir Canal Bridges)
• Intermittent single lane closures 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., Feb 23–27. Traffic shifted east through Dec. 31.
FLORIDA’S TURNPIKE (S.R. 91)
• Boynton Beach Blvd (Exit 86): Ongoing interchange construction through early 2026.
• Southern Blvd: Westbound inside lane closed continuously through May 2026 near the Turnpike entrance.
• Okeechobee Blvd: Single lane closures between Vista Pkwy and West Dr., 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Weekdays) and 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Saturdays) starting March 2.
