BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — An overnight ground stop affecting all JetBlue flights has been lifted.
The FAA reports that JetBlue itself requested a nationwide ground stop for all of its on-ground aircraft due to what is being described as a computer issue. The ground stop went into effect shortly after midnight and remained in effect for roughly an hour. Flights in the air were not affected.
A quick check of flights around 6 a.m. Tuesday at FLL and PBI indicates that JetBlue has returned to normal operations.
It was not immediately clear just what led to the computer issue or why a ground stop was necessary.
