PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A local DoorDash driver — both named Charisma and showing charisma — found herself behind bars early Friday morning after a traffic stop in Lake Worth led to a series of drug and DUI charges. Charisma Bondonese, 39, was pulled over by Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputies just before midnight on March 12th after her gray Hyundai was spotted repeatedly drifting into a bike lane on South Military Trail.

Bondonese, according to a police report reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, told the arresting officer that she was heading home to Greenacres and had been distracted while trying to turn off her delivery app when a new order pinged. Deputies say they noticed signs of impairment and spotted a box of Narcan in a purse sitting on the passenger seat. A subsequent search of the vehicle allegedly uncovered multiple items of drug paraphernalia, including pill capsules and two straws covered in white powder residue.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Bondonese admitted to investigators that she had snorted cocaine a few months prior, though she denied taking any illegal substances or alcohol that day.  Field sobriety tests, police wrote, showed her struggling with balance. While she was being detained, a field test of the residue found on one of the straws came back positive for cocaine. A breathalyzer test, however, returned results of a .000 blood alcohol content.

Bondonese now faces two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. She was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on March 13th and was later released on bond. A court date is pending.
