DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Three people were critically injured in a shooting around 6:15 Tuesday afternoon in a community near Military Trail and Lake Ida Road.
While we are awaiting official information, sources tell BocaNewsNow.com that one person was shot in the buttocks, a second person was shot in the leg. The third person was also shot in the leg.
All victims were rushed to Delray Medical Center which is the area’s trauma center. It was not immediately clear if anyone was taken into custody.
It appears the scene is at a house in the area. One victim was found in the front yard, two victims were found in the back yard. It is unclear if the victims are related.

UPDATE at 11 p.m. — Delray Beach Police just provided this statement — “Delray Beach Police are investigating a shooting that occurred around 6 p.m. tonight in the 500 block of Northwest 47th Avenue. Three people were struck by gunfire and transported to the hospital. Their conditions are not being released at this time. The suspect has not been apprehended, and the investigation remains active. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Delray Beach Police Department.”
