Plan now for SpringFest in Delray Beach.

DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Get your baskets and flashlights ready because Delray Beach is kicking off April with a jam-packed schedule of community events. The fun starts with “Springfest” at Robert P. Miller Park, a two-day egg hunt that has something for everyone. Friday night, April 3rd, is all about the grown-ups and teens (ages 13+) with an after-dark egg hunt starting at 8:00 p.m.. Just make sure to bring your own flashlight and basket to snag some prizes and enjoy the music. On Saturday morning, April 4th, the park belongs to the little ones (ages 1–12) for a classic egg hunt, bounce houses, and crafts starting at 9:00 a.m. sharp.

If you love art and local vibes, the 64th Annual Delray Affair is taking over Atlantic Avenue from April 10th to April 12th. This massive street festival stretches across seven city blocks and features hundreds of artists and crafters from all over the country. It’s one of the biggest events in the Southeast, so it’s the perfect weekend to wander through downtown and check out some unique finds. Plus, there are plenty of other ways to get social this month, from the Florida Panthers Block Party to the First Friday Art Walk, both happening on April 3rd.

For those who want to give back, there are several ways to help keep Delray beautiful this spring. On April 11th, volunteers are needed at Orchard View Park to help pull invasive weeds and restore the local ecosystem. Later in the month, you can celebrate Earth Month by joining the “Greatest American Cleanup” on April 25th at the Sandoway Discovery Center. It’s a great chance to team up with neighbors and make a real difference in the community.

If you’re a history buff or looking to learn a new skill, the city has you covered there, too. On April 7th, the Delray Beach Historical Society is hosting a cool lecture about the “Women of Delray” and how they helped build the city. If you’d rather get your hands dirty, the Creative Arts School is offering new classes in ceramics and even a holiday cookie-decorating workshop for the kids. There’s also “Chair Yoga” at the library every Tuesday in April for anyone looking to stay active in a more relaxed way.

Finally, the city is looking for some new faces to join the team. The Delray Beach Police Department is holding a recruitment open house on April 4th at 10:00 a.m. for anyone thinking about a career in law enforcement. Delray Beach Fire Rescue is also hiring and looking for motivated people to join their emergency services crew. Whether you’re looking for a new job or just a fun way to spend your weekend, there is no shortage of things to do in Delray this month.
