BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Boca Raton Fire Rescue crews are on the scene of a structure fire Sunday morning at Florida Atlantic University. The first was first reported just before 11 a.m.
According to sources, the fire was confined to building 43 which is an office building. Flames were seen in a first floor room.
It’s unclear what started the blaze. Initial information from the scene suggests that damage is significant in the building, as firefighters had to pull part of the ceiling down in the affected area and are also dealing with smoke through the first two floors.
There are no reports of injuries. Check back for updates later Sunday.
