Rayon Sanchez Found Dead On Dixie Highway.

BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Broward Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest in a weekend homicide that left a 40-year-old Pompano Beach man dead in the middle of North Dixie Highway.
Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded around 2 a.m. Sunday, April 5, to reports of an injured man lying in the roadway in the 1600 block of North Dixie Highway in Pompano Beach. Deputies arrived to find Rayon Sanchez, 40, of 1680 N.E. First Ave., suffering from a gunshot wound. Sanchez was pronounced dead at the scene. BSO’s Homicide and Crime Scene units responded to investigate, and the 1600 block of North Dixie Highway was shut down to traffic for approximately four hours before reopening.
Detectives say no suspect has been identified at this time.
