BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boca Raton woman has filed a lawsuit against several companies, claiming she suffered serious injuries after falling into a concealed hole in her Loggers Run neighborhood.

According to the complaint reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, Sarah Bitton is suing Loggers Run, Inc., BellSouth Telecommunications, LLC (doing business as AT&T Florida), Blue Streak, LLC, Gemini Construction, LLC, JJ Groundworks Corp., and CNG Groundworks Corp. The lawsuit alleges the companies were involved in a construction and telecommunications project that included excavation work in residential areas.

Court filings claim the defendants created or allowed a hole to remain in the ground near a commonly used pedestrian area in the Loggers Run community, then covered it with grass or other material, making it appear safe. Bitton alleges she was walking in her neighborhood in August 2025 when the ground gave way beneath her, causing her to fall and suffer significant injuries.

The lawsuit accuses the companies of negligence for failing to properly secure, restore, or warn residents about the hazard. Bitton is seeking damages in excess of $50,000. She is represented by Dermer Law Firm of Palm Beach Gardens.
